I have the pleasure of being a demonstrating artist, gallery employee, Open Studios Exhibitor and Workshop Facilitator at Happs Wines and Commonage Pottery & Gallery. Happs has a long history of supporting the arts, from the original pottery building constructed in 1978 through to musical concerts and local ballet performances.

It's a great space to host art education and I hope you can join me for one of the workshops listed below.

Gelli Plate Printing Workshop

Discover the joy of creating beautiful monoprints without the need for a press. Experiment with colours, textures, and botanical motifs to craft unique prints that reflect your creativity.

Annie will guide you through the Gelli Print process, from choosing colors and designing stencils to creating layered prints. The wonderful thing about these prints is that you can then use them to create beautiful collages.

Love Flowers - Mother's Day Retreat

Sunday 11th May 10:30am - 2:30pm.

As part of a 4-hour retreat at Happs Wines designed to spoil your mum completely, you'll enjoy a guided floral painting session and take home your own 20 x 20cm artwork. What a great opportunity to enjoy family time while being creative. You'll also enjoy some delicious wines and a grazing platter.

6-Week Drawing Fundamentals

Starting with the basics, we will explore mark making, using line and shape, observational and expressive drawing, shading techniques, accessing your present self, using positive/ negative space, perception, perspective and applying value. And of course you'll learn how to put it all together!

After the 6 sessions you will be begin to see like an artist does!
