Gelli Plate Prints

Gelli Plate Printing is a fun, process driven artform that is easy to learn and accessible to anyone. I regularly run workshops to teach this basic process where you can achieve a series of gorgeous prints over several hours. Gelli plate printing involves rolling paint on your silicone (gelli) plate, applying a positive or negative shape stencil or image transfer, placing your paper over the plate and rubbing. The pressure on the plate lifts off the paint. Once dry, you can apply another layer, with another colour or stencil to build up a vibrant, or subtle layered image.
