This colourful little bay was painted while participating in a painting class that was focused on a particular style of brush stroke and was all about a loose application of colour and paint. The bay I believe was called St Barts Bay.
I enjoyed the process of applying many layers of brighter colours in the foreground and using muted, faded colours in the background.
