What a glorious day to be in the mountains. This beautiful hike wound its way up through a trail in the Sierra da Estrela Natural Park, the highest mountain range in Portugal. As far as I could see rolling greens, blue and cloudy skies, and monolithic granite boulders looming over us.

In the distance, but growing ever closer, came the incredible music hundreds of goats bells clanging together made: a dramatic and sensual delight.
