Underwater Garden - Original Mixed Media Collage on Paper
 
I began playing with this image initially by creating patterned layered gelli-plate paper prints.  I like to let the process lead me, and with this image, the patterns and colours led me toward an underwater garden. I hand tore and cut strips or shapes of paper and arranged the pieces and then drew back into the image using various mixed media to highlight various elements.
